Tech N9ne schedules May concert in Scottsdale

American rapper, Tech N9ne, has announced a concert at Livewire in Scottsdale on Wednesday, May 18.

Doors open at 7 p.m. This is an all ages event. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Jan. 8, at Livewireaz.com.

Aaron Dontez Yates, better known by his stage name Tech N9ne, began his music career in the 1990s and in 2001 released his breakout album, Anghellic, on the JCOR Entertainment label.

The album was a horrorcore and hard core hip hop album that made its way to the No. 59 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, according to a press release.

Tech N9ne went on to release over a dozen more albums on his label, Strange Music.

In 2015, he released two albums, Tech N9ne Collabos – Strangeulation Vol. II and Special Effects. Special Effects included collaborations with many top artists, including B.o.B, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and Eminem. The album also reached the top spot on the Independent Albums chart, the release stated.
