Live like a professional golfer during a special opportunity to play golf with athletes and notable figures during the LPGA Tour’s JTBC Founders Cup Official Pro-Am.

Golf fans may have seen TV coverage of a Pro-Am where they have watched celebrities, professional athletes and amateurs compete on the course that will be the host to an official LPGA Tour or PGA TOUR event.

The LPGA Tour’s JTBC Founders Cup Official Pro-Am takes place on Wednesday March 16. Year after year the popularity of this event grows, drawing some of the biggest names in sports, according to a press release.

In previous years, Larry Fitzgerald (NFL), Patrick Peterson (NFL), Russ Ortiz (former MLB pitcher), Robbie Gould (NFL), Bradley Sowell (NFL), and many more have been a part of this unique event. Larry Fitzgerald will return this year with fellow Arizona Cardinals and other local sports celebrities ready to play with LPGA Pros.

Fans can purchase tickets to see their favorite athletes tee off with the greatest women in golf.

This Pro-Am is unique because each foursome of amateurs will play with two LPGA professionals during their round. It’s a 9-and-9 scramble format; one LPGA Pro plays the front nine with the foursome and another Pro plays the back nine.

“Once a golfer has experienced this type of opportunity, to meet and play with two of our LPGA Tour players, they can’t wait to share their story,” stated Tournament Director, Scott Wood in the release. “A great deal of hard work goes into making our Pro-Am an unforgettable experience.”

Trophies are awarded for first place net and first place gross, but there are other great prizes as well.

Proximity contests include Men’s and Women’s Longest Drives as well as closest to the pin. There is a Hole-in-One challenge presented by Kia; the prize for scoring an ace on No. 17 is a 2016 Kia K900. During last year’s tournament, Giulia Molinaro made a hole in one on No. 17 and won a 2016 Kia K900, the release stated.
