The Boxmasters featuring Billy Bob Thornton to play at Livewire

Livewire is proud to announce that The Boxmasters featuring Billy Bob Thornton will make its Livewire debut on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Billy Bob Thornton, an actor and Arkansas native, who always had a love for folk and rock, began his music career in the late 90s, according to a press release. He released his first album solo entitled Private Radio in 2001 and then released three more albums, stated the release.

Mr. Thornton performed in Creedence Clearwater Revival and ZZ Top cover bands before joining the ranks of the country rock band, The Boxmasters, as a vocalist and drummer, stated the release.

The group has released several albums, the most recent being Somewhere Down the Road earlier this year. Mr. Thornton continues to write and perform music with The Boxmasters and for his solo career, according to the release..

Doors for the concert open at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15. This is an event for ages 18 and older. Under 18 admitted when accompanied by an adult, according to the release. Livewire is located 7320 E. Indian Plaza in Scottsdale.
