‘The Wallace and Ladmo Show’ comes to Scottsdale June 5-14

The Stagebrush Theatre in Scottsdale is presenting ‘The Wallace and Ladmo Show,’ June 5-14.

In 1964 mock-rock band Hub Kapp and The Wheels premiered on ‘The Wallace and Ladmo Show’ –an iconic children’s television show that ran in Arizona for 35 years. The band became an overnight sensation.

So big, it threatened to destroy the kid’s show that launched it. But this is more than a story of the rise and fall of a one-hit wonder band spawned from a kid’s TV show in little backwater 1964 Phoenix; it is a story about the measure of success in our own lives.

‘The Wallace and Ladmo Show’ will be at the Stagebrush Theatre, 7020 E. Second St. in Scottsdale. For more information visit http://www.greasepaint.org/ or call 480-949-7529.
