WestWorld of Scottsdale to offer indoor 4th of July celebration

Scottsdale 4th of July at WestWorld will be returning to the large air-conditioned center for a patriotic filled day with fun, games, festivities and fireworks.

The larger-than-life event delivers a mega patriotic play date of interactive games, food and family entertainment – all within a cool environment, literally, and culminating with a traditional fireworks show at approximately 9 p.m.  Gates open at 2 p.m. for a full afternoon and evening of fun and entertainment, according to a press release.

“For the second year, WestWorld is the site of this patriotic celebration for families and youngsters of all ages.  Last year was the first, with great response, and this second Scottsdale 4th promises to be even bigger and better.  It’s July, so we’re happy to invite families to enjoy a great time indoors on this patriotic holiday,” stated Brian Dygert, General Manager of WestWorld of Scottsdale, in the release.

General admission is $12 in advance and $17 at the door; children five and under are free.  Scottsdale residents can enjoy a reduced price ticket of $6 in advance, according to the release.

A limited number of VIP tickets are available at $30 in advance, or $35 at the door, and includes an unlimited amount of Vienna Beef hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, salad, desserts, beverage, watermelon and reserved bleacher seats for the fireworks.

Scottsdale 4th of July at WestWorld also will offer a large and diverse interactive, indoor play zone in fully air-conditioned surroundings.  General admission tickets include free activities and live entertainment including:

  • Fireworks
  • Grand Prix Gatsby-era racing (ages 16 and up)
  • Extreme trampoline show
  • Bull riding show by Dirty Money Cattle Company
  • Frozen 4th Spectacular: Ana & Elsa appearances, Frozen karaoke, Frozen-themed crafts, Frozen photo booth, Frozen Maze; Do you want to build a snowman contest; Frozen movie viewing, music, games and prizes
  • LIVE 101.5 dance party
  • Video game trucks
  • Half pipe BMX and skateboard stunt show featuring X-Games riders
  • Quarter pipe BMX and skateboard stunt show featuring X-Games riders
  • TNT dunk squad
  • Main stage schedule of community entertainment

In addition, wristbands are available for purchase for unlimited participation in the rides and games below.  Wristbands are $20 for the first wristband and $10 for each additional, $5 for kids five and under.  The mega-play zone features:

  • 35-foot black diamond slide
  • Shock wave obstacle course
  • 22-foot vertical rush obstacle course
  • 6-lane bungee run
  • Mechanical bull
  • Rodeo calf roping machine
  • Western play house open bouncy for ages 5 and under only
  • Buccaneer revenge crawl obstacle course for ages 5 and under only
  • 12-foot pirate slide for ages 5 and under only
  • 18-foot Caribbean slide for ages 5 and under only

Parking is $5. Guests also have the option to park on the polo field at WestWorld with friends and family for $20 a carload to see the fireworks show set against the McDowell Mountains, according to the release. Polo field lot opens at 7 p.m.
