One of the Valley’s premier nonprofits, Debbie Gaby Charities, hosted the 10th anniversary of Celebrity Catwalk on Oct. 11, at the Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Montelucia.

The fundraiser founded by Debbie Gaby was chaired by Allison DuBois and Jennifer Moser, according to a press release.

The fall luncheon featured dream boxes, a live auction, shopping and a runway fashion show featuring local celebrities and fashions by Dillard’s at Paradise Valley Mall.

“Giving back to our community has always been at the core of everything we do and Celebrity Catwalk provided amazing fun in fundraising,” said Charity  founder, Debbie Gaby, in the release. “Our Purrfect 10 event was exactly just that — raising over $100,000 for charity.”

The highlighted charities supported two organizations: Valleylife who provides disabled individuals the opportunity to live a life with choices, independence and dignity; and Homes for Our Troops who builds mortgage-free, specially adapted homes for severely injured Veterans post 9/11, to enable them to rebuild their lives.

“The beneficiaries of the event are amazing organizations, I am thrilled we supported them and I was so honored to co-chair such a celebrated event,” said Ms. Moser, in the release.

This year’s Purrfect 10 award recipient was Brenda Warner and the Legacy Lifetime Achievement award recipient was Dr. Gladys Taylor McGarey, the internationally recognized Mother of Holistic Medicine.

“Our event was driven to change lives for the better,” said Ms. DuBois in the release. “And that’s exactly what we did.”

Debbie Gaby Charities is a local nonprofit 501(c)3 organization committed to improving the community. Since 1997 Debbie Gaby has been providing assistance, support and other resources to deserving Phoenix Valley charities and organizations in need.
