Held at Top Golf at Riverwalk in Scottsdale, the Steve Johnson Memorial Fundraiser brought together family, friends, and business partners to honor the man who was the driving force to establish a fundraiser for the Associa Cares charity.

The late Steve Johnson was a former community manager with Associa Arizona.

This year the memorial raised more than $20,000 with proceeds benefiting Associa Cares, a non-profit organization created to assist families and communities in crisis as a result of natural or man-made disasters.

To date, more than $1.7 million have been donated nationwide to those in need including recipients in Arizona and the Phoenix area.

“This event shines a light on Steve’s compassionate heart and legacy as a caring servant leader,” said Associa Arizona President Paula Randolph.

“The Associa Arizona family is thankful for the generous community sponsorships and donations and it’s always heartwarming to see so many members of the Johnson family who come every year to honor Steve’s spirit of giving.”

Associa Cares is comprised of volunteer staff that serves on national and local communities. The organization is also funded entirely by tax-deductible donations of Associa employees and concerned citizens.

Building and managing successful communities for more than 35 years, Associa is a leader in community management with over 9,000 employees operating more than 170 branch offices in the United States, Mexico, Canada, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa.
