Boot Barn fundraiser benefits nonprofit Triple R Horse Rescue

The Boot Barn will hold a fundraiser noon-4 p.m. Saturday, March 28, to benefit Triple R Horse Rescue, a 501(c) 3 organization that rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes horses surrendered to its care.

The Boot Barn is located at 8698 E. Raintree Drive, Scottsdale.

The fundraiser will feature raffle items donated by western retailers, including Ariat, Tony Lama Boots, Justin Boots, Dan Post Boots, Rock and Roll Cowboys shirts and Wrangler.

Triple R Horse Rescue will bring a few previously adopted miniature horses to the event.

The organization, which is run 100 percent by volunteers and relies on support from the community to fulfill its mission. Located on three acres donated by Lil Bit North Ranch in Cave Creek, Triple R Horse Rescue is dedicated to assisting the 175,000 unwanted horses in the United States. During the past three years, the organization has re-homed more than 100 horses.
