Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship hosts 14th annual fundraiser

Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship will hold its 14th annual “Hooves and Heroes” fundraiser 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, May 2 at its north Scottsdale facility, 6250 E. Jomax Road.

The free event, timed to coincide with the Kentucky Derby, will feature horses, hats and fun for the entire family.

Activities include a live broadcast of the Kentucky Derby, children’s games, barbecue lunch, silent auction, raffle and a “Parade of Champions, featuring many of the Camelot therapy horses.

Cost for lunch is $10 for adults; $5 for children.

Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship is a nonprofit organization that teaches horsemanship to children and adults who have physical disabilities. Camelot has been offering all services at no cost to students since 1983.
