Girl Scouts learn from Scottsdale Fire Department

Girl Scout Brownie Troop 4392 spent time with the Scottsdale Fire Department’s Ladder 602 Friday, Nov. 16.

The girl scouts explored the inside of a firetruck, learned about the equipment and took an interactive tour of the headquarters. The girls practiced calling 911, which troop leaders called a “great lesson.”

They learned providing home addresses and phone numbers is needed to provide in case of an emergency.
