Presented by CopperPoint Insurance Companies, the event begins at 6 p.m. with a silent auction and will be followed by dinner, live auction and presentation of the awards.  The gala will end at 9 p.m. and be immediately followed by The Enchanted After Party hosted by the Red Shoe Society, a young professionals group.

Individual tickets for the black-tie optional dinner and After Party are $300. After Party-only tickets are $50. Additional sponsorship opportunities begin at $5,000.  For more information and to register, visit https://rmhccnaz.org/gala/.

Gala co-chairs are McDonald’s Owner-Operator Kerry Schulman and Chiko Swiney, CopperPoint Insurance Companies workers’ compensation litigation attorney.  iHeart Radio personality Marty Manning and Connie Colla will co-host the event.

“The Heart of the House Awards are deeply meaningful to me personally and to everyone associated with Ronald McDonald House.  They are our opportunity to cast a well-deserved spotlight on individuals and companies whose support and commitment enable us to be a home-away-from home for the families and children we serve,” said RMHCCNAZ CEO Nancy Roach.  “On behalf of those families, we are incredibly grateful.”

Ms. Begley, who will receive the individual award, served on the board of directors from 2011 to 2015 and on the executive committee in 2013 and 2014.  She also is a donor, has volunteered with CopperPoint Insurance Companies in the Adopt-A-Room program and regularly serves dinner to families with her company colleagues.  She lives in North Central Phoenix.

Heart of the House Corporate Award honoree SRP, a community-based, not-for-profit public power utility and the largest provider of electricity in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area serving more than 1 million customers, has been a Gala sponsor since 2006 and presenting sponsor from 2015 to 2017.

The company also supported two capital campaigns and the SRP Boosters Employee Giving program has donated more than $275,000 over the past 10 years.  SRP’s in-kind donations have included print services, tickets to sporting events for families, contributions to auctions and much more.  SRP volunteers have donated more than 1,200 hours to Ronald McDonald House projects.
