Teleradiology Solutions, a global leading telediagnostic delivery company, has hired Scottsdale resident Robb Vaules to serve as its sales director for the Western United States.

The hire marks a major expansion for the company as it moves to expand beyond its strong foothold in the northeast, particularly in the New England area, where the company currently serves more than 100 hospitals, according to a press release.

While its effort to expand across the United States is new, TRS’ leadership role in the U.S. is well documented.

Founded by two Yale University trained physicians in 2002, it is among the first teleradiology companies in the nation to be accredited by the U.S. Joint Commission accreditation for healthcare organizations. TRS was also awarded “Best in KLAS” in 2011.

“Robb’s industry experience and impressive track record of success in helping to grow and expand teleradiology service companies makes him the perfect addition to the TRS team,” said Kishor Joshi, head of global sales at Teleradiology Solutions, in the release.

“TRS was already one of the largest tele-diagnostic companies in the U.S. and with Robb’s help we’re confident we’ll continue to grow and expand our hospital partnerships across the West.”

Robb Vaules has more than 20 years of Healthcare and IT industry expertise in operations sales, marketing, the last 13 years within the Diagnostic Imaging and Teleradiology marketplaces.

“Teleradiology Solutions has a well-earned reputation as one of the most advanced, well run tele-diagnostic companies in the world and already had an impressive footprint in the U.S. market,” said Mr. Vaules in the release. “I’m thrilled to join this talented team as TRS seeks to expand beyond its first 100 U.S. hospital partners as it seeks to grow into the largest teleradiology service provider in the country.”

Prior to joining TRS, Mr. Vaules served in various operations and sales leadership roles for numerous teleradiology startups including vRad, NightHawk, Radiological Associates of Sacramento and Desert Radiologists in Las Vegas.

Originally from Phoenix, Mr. Vaules earned a degree from Northern Arizona University and completed graduate classwork in at The University of Texas, Austin.  He is married with one son and two dogs, and currently lives in Scottsdale.
