Via de Cristo Fellowship hosts fun and safe Halloween event

Via de Cristo United Methodist Fellowship church will conduct a free and safe Halloween event for children and families 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

Activities include “Trunk or Treat” where kids can visit vehicles decorated for Halloween and receive candy and treats, a bounce house, cotton candy , snow cones, face painting, a cupcake walk for the little ones and prizes for best costumes and vehicle decoration.

Food, water, soda and coffee are available for a minimal donation.

Businesses are invited to promote themselves with a table or by donating a gift certificate or merchandise for the raffle. Call Sheila Lively at 480-720-7346 to donate or participate.

Via de Cristo is a progressive Christian congregation in North Scottsdale. “Via de Cristo” in Spanish means the “way of Christ.”

Via de Cristo’s mission: To seek to open hearts, open minds, and open doors to make Disciples of Christ.
