IMI Design wins big at annual design excellence awards

Scottsdale-based IMI Design, a full-service interior design studio and showroom, shined at the 2016 Annual Design Excellence Awards.

The gala was presented by the Arizona North Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers and was held on Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Phoenician resort in Phoenix.

The annual awards ceremony recognizes top creativity and professional achievement of Arizona’s interior design community in a multitude of categories.

Out of the nearly 100 projects submitted for judging, IMI Design was honored with the following awards by the ASID Arizona North Chapter:

  • 1st Place: product design, furniture
  • 1st Place: product design, element
  • 2nd  Place: kitchen
  • 2nd Place: residence over 6,000 square feet
  • 3rd Place: singular space, residential
  • 3rd Place: product design, furniture
  • 3rd Place: adaptive use
  • Honorable Mention: special function space, residential

Over the course of 14 consecutive years of participation in the Design Excellence Awards, IMI has earned more than 70 awards including several prestigious “Best in Show” titles.
