The custom golf cart belongs to Rodger Comstock who has generously dedicated all the proceeds from the auction to the family of fallen Salt River Police Department officer Clayton Townsend, who was tragically killed in the line of duty on Jan. 8. Officer Townsend was struck by a vehicle while he was conducting a traffic stop on Loop 101 near McDowell Road.

In addition to this generous donation, Russo and Steele has waived all fees and commissions, so all proceeds from the auction of the vehicle will go directly to the Townsend family, a press release stated.

The Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auction is occurring at Salt River Fields, 7555 N. Pima Road.
