The Scottsdale Police Department is requesting help from the public in identifying a suspect related to a burglary/bike theft case.

At 8:20 a.m. on March 13, a male suspect entered the Scottsdale Waterfront Condos at 7175 E. Camelback Road, where he later broke into the secured underground bike storage room, according to police officials.

He stole one bike from the room and then about an hour later he returned in different clothes, with a different backpack, and stole another bike. The second bike was a white Specialized Chamber mountain bike with orange accents and orange pedals valued at $4,000, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-35 years old, slender athletic build, clean shaven, and dark brown hair.  Surveillance photos show the suspect wearing a white G-Shock watch, athletic clothing, and Nike running shoes with bright green soles.

Anyone with information related to this case is asked to call the Scottsdale Police Department at 480-312-5000.  Anonymous tips can be left at www.Tipsoft.com or 480-312-8477.
