Police ask for help locating north Scottsdale woman

The Scottsdale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing endangered adult female.

Sondra Engstrom, 79, was last seen by family on Wednesday, Feb. 6, when she left her north Scottsdale home for a dental appointment, according to Scottsdale police officials.

Ms. Engstrom never arrived at the appointment and has not returned home. She was last seen wearing black pants, a gold button-up shirt, dark colored jacket and dark shoes.

She is described as a white female, 5 foot 4 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with short gray hair, green eyes and wearing glasses.

Police say Ms. Engstrom is driving a blue 2008 Lexus four-door sedan with Arizona license plate 354VRM.

Anyone with information referencing Ms. Engstrom is asked to call the Scottsdale Police Department at 480-312-5000.
