Police respond to US Bank robbery in Scottsdale

A U.S. Bank in Scottsdale was robbed just before 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, police officials say.

At 10:50 a.m. Scottsdale police officers responded to a bank robbery at U.S. Bank, 9719 N. Hayden Road.

A male subject entered the bank and approached a teller at the counter, according to police. He reportedly passed a note to the teller demanding money.

The teller complied, police said, handing over a known amount of cash.

The subject left the bank on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

The suspect is described by police as a white male, 30-40 years old, wearing sunglasses, headphones, a blue shirt and dark blue pants.
