Scottsdale cable channel gets a new name

The city of Scottsdale’s government channel previously known as, CityCable 11 or Channel 11, has changed its name to Scottsdale Video Network, according to the Scottsdale city website.

The new name better reflects all the different ways you can watch the city’s programs. Besides Cox Cable channel 11, Scottsdale government is also on Century Link channel 8001, ScottsdaleAZ.gov (search SVN), our live stream, and YouTube, according to the website.

So, while the name has changed, it is still on the same channels with TV shows and live coverage of Scottsdale City Council meetings.

For more information, visit the city website at www.scottsdaleaz.gov.

The Scottsdale Independent is published monthly and mailed to 75,000 homes and businesses in Scottsdale.
