Catch Abe Lincoln ‘in person’ at Civil War Roundtable

The Scottsdale Civil War Roundtable invites the public to its next free monthly installment, “Lincoln: Lies, Legends and Myths” at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11.

The monthly event will take place at Scottsdale Civic Center Library, 3839 N. Drinkwater Blvd.

The program features James Hayney portraying President Lincoln as he answers questions about the Civil War, slavery and his presidency.

Mr. Hayney has appeared as Mr. Lincoln since 2002 in television commercials, films, plays and numerous other forums, according to a press release.

The Scottsdale Civil War Roundtable meets nine months out of the year, taking summer months, June, July and August off.
