Scottsdale to enter into land use agreement with Russo and Steele

Russo and Steele LLC and the city of Scottsdale are looking to enter into a contract for use of state lands on the southeastern corner of Scottsdale Road and Arizona Loop 101.

The land use agreement would run parallel with the state land usage permit Scottsdale obtained and that WestWorld manages. The city obtained the SLUP for dust control and to ensure that the city can keep access to overflow parking and staging needs for special events.

The contract is cost neutral as the costs from the state land department is invoiced to the event producer, according to a city staff proposal. Additional, Russo and Steele LLC pays for the annual maintenance cost for the management and repairs of the land permit area.
