Scottsdale PD finds 2 dead inside apartment

During a welfare check on July 6, Scottsdale police officers discovered two deceased subjects inside an apartment, according to police officials.

Officers arrived to the apartment at, 409 N. Scottsdale Road at 3:45 p.m. when the discovery was made.

A death investigation was initiated and continued into the early hours of Thursday, July 7. At this point in the investigation, Scottsdale officials are confident in the identity of both subjects but the verification process is still underway.

The department will not be able to provide further information until the identities are confirmed and next of kin has been notified, police said.

There is no indication that there are any outstanding suspects or danger to the surrounding community.
