Scottsdale police arrest suspect in armed robbery case

The Scottsdale Police Department announced it has arrested a suspect in connection with a March 13 bank robbery in Scottsdale.

Police arrested William Adrian Staab, 24, for an armed robbery of a Wells Fargo at 15760 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. Police made the arrest Wednesday, March 20.

“We would like to thank our media partners for sharing the initial release with the public,” the release stated. “We received numerous tips in recent days, which led to Mr. Staab turning himself into police early (Wednesday).”

Police say Mr. Staab presented a note to a teller demanding money at 12:18 p.m. on March 13. After receiving the money, police say Mr. Staab fled to a light blue sedan.
