Scottsdale patrol officers responded to the call shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18. Detectives with the department’s person crimes unit, who had been at the scene from the onset, have declared the case a homicide, police officials said.

“The case is still under investigation. We are not releasing any other details than what was already sent out,” said Scotsdale Police Sgt. Ben Hoster in a Feb. 20 written response to e-mailed questions.

Police say there has been no recent contact history at the address where Ms. Feldman was found, or with Ms. Feldman herself.
