Scottsdale Police identify deceased woman found June 13

The Scottsdale Police Department has identified the woman found dead in an apartment on June 13, as 50-year-old Madeline Mitchell.

At 4:30 p.m. on June 13, the Scottsdale Police Department was alerted to a foul odor coming from a neighbor’s apartment at Sienna Condominiums, 7575 E. Indian Bend Road.

When the police entered the apartment, they found Mitchell in an advanced stage of decomposition. According to police officials, the cause of death is undetermined, although the circumstances do not appear suspicious.

This investigation is ongoing at this time.
