Scottsdale police seek help from public to identify suspect

Scottsdale Burglary Detectives are asking for the help of the public in identifying a burglary suspect.

In the first three months of 2015, the suspect is responsible for several locker room burglaries at the Ice Den, 9375 E. Bell Road. The suspect broke into player lockers while the players were on the ice.

The stolen items include wallets, cash, cell phones and credit cards.  In these cases, the suspect immediately used the stolen credit cards at various valley stores.

To date, the total financial loss is around $5,000, according to Scottsdale police.

In addition to the Scottsdale cases, he is suspected of similar activity in Phoenix, Chandler, Gilbert and Peoria.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years old, who is 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 130-150 pounds with short brown hair.

In one case, a witness reported seeing him in a white Jeep Cherokee.

Anyone with information as to the identity and/or whereabouts of this suspect is asked to contact the Scottsdale Police Department at 480-312-5000.  Anonymous tips can be left at www.TIPSOFT.com or 480-312-TIPS (8477).
