Scottsdale seeks volunteer Downtown Ambassadors

Are you people oriented? Excited about Downtown Scottsdale? Then consider volunteering as a Downtown Scottsdale Ambassador.

Ambassador volunteers are asked to fulfill two and three hour shifts at one of our information sidewalk carts a few times per month.

Other opportunities include hosting information tables at the ArtWalk or Spring Training games and behind the scenes assistance in keeping our carts stocked, according to a press release.

An in-depth training session will take place on Oct. 3 and there will be networking and social events as well as other training opportunities throughout the season, stated the release.

Applications and a background check will be required. Applications can be found on https://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/downtown/dtambassadors.

For more information on how you can get involved, call 480-312-2342 or e-mail jracine@ScottsdaleAZ.gov.

The Scottsdale Independent is published monthly and mailed to 75,000 homes and businesses in Scottsdale.
