Scottsdale SWAT team serve search warrant, find suspect in attic

The Scottsdale Police Department SWAT team released a statement at 7:19 a.m. on July 29, stating they were serving a search warrant, and the suspect had barricaded themselves inside the home.

The search warrant was in the area of 46th Avenue and Butler Drive in Glendale, according to police.

Around 9 a.m., the Scottsdale Police Department Twitter account stated they had found the barricaded suspect hiding inside the attic, and was taken into custody.

 “Update on SWAT incident at 46th Ave & Butler. Barricaded suspect is now in custody after being found hiding in the attic,” the Scottsdale PD Tweet stated.
