Scottsdale Water’s free landscape workshops are in full bloom

Scottsdale Water is hosting landscape workshops through April to teach residents how to have lush yard without sacrificing our precious resource – water.

Here are upcoming sessions:

  • Drip Irrigation Design & Installation – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12: Simple things you need to know to make your drip irrigation system efficient and easy to maintain.
  • “Smart” Irrigation Controllers – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19: A new generation of irrigation controllers can automatically adjust your irrigation schedule based on your yard’s needs and changes in weather conditions. Learn how this technology can save up to 30 percent on your outdoor watering.

Irrigation Specialist Jeff Lee teaches both classes which will be at the Granite Reef Senior Center, 1700 N. Granite Reef Road.
