Unofficial results: Lane, Klapp, Korte, Phillips are front runners

Unofficial results show all city of Scottsdale incumbents are the front runners in the Nov. 8 general election.

The race for mayor was sought by incumbent Jim Lane and former city council member Bob Littlefield.

Maricopa County Recorder’s office’s unofficial results show Jim Lane with 36,879 votes, and Mr. Littlefield with 19,890 votes.

Four candidates — incumbents Guy Phillips, Suzanne Klapp and Virginia Korte and newcomer Dan Schweikert — were seeking three seats on city council.

According to the Maricopa County Recorder’s office each city council candidate’s unofficial results are:

  • Suzanne Klapp: 29,977;
  • Virginia Korte: 29,606;
  • Guy Phillips: 28,408;
  • Dan Schweiker: 26,701.
