Update: Shea and 64th Street intersection remains partially closed

Update: water main break still effecting Shea Blvd. at 64th Street in Scottsdale for the Friday morning commute.

At 6:12 a.m. on April 8 the city of Scottsdale Twitter posted that one eastbound lane was open, and two west bound lanes were open on Shea Blvd. however, there are no left-turns at the intersection.

Scottsdale Water is working to isolate an apparent water main break on Shea Blvd. at 64th Street. All eastbound lanes are currently closed.

The main break occurred at approximately 4 p.m.

There is no estimated time for repairs at this time. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
