Woman in critical condition following Scottsdale hit-and-run

A woman has sustained life threatening injuries after a hit-and-run occurred in Scottsdale, according to officials.

At 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, Scottsdale police and fire were dispatched to a hit-and-run accident at 124th Street and Shea, stated a police report.

Responding officers learned a 33-year-old female pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle traveling southbound approximately 200 yards north of Shea on 124th Street.

The vehicle fled the scene immediately following the accident, according to police.

The female pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
