Close: 2018 Scottsdale Home Tour exceeds expectations

With more diversity of homes than ever and in several neighborhoods never before on past tours, the fourth annual Scottsdale Home Tour was the best yet.

The home tour team would like to thank those who made the event such a success – especially all the visitors who took the tour.

Andaz Resort and Bungalows proved to be the perfect partner for the RenovationsMOD home tour.  The venue tucked behind the Borgata on Scottsdale Road, which features mid-century inspired architecture and art, provided a wonderful ambience for visitors.  We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality.

We also want to express our gratitude to McFate Brewing on South Scottsdale Road.  Steve McFate and his staff, once again, hosted our annual dinner for homeowners.  The food and drinks were great, and the service, as always, was impeccable.

K. Hovnanian Homes deserves special mention. Once again, their residential communities Aire and Skye located on McDowell Road were on the tour. K. Hovanian’s focus on thoughtful design is a testament to quality residences that are an asset to this part of our city

But most of all it’s the homeowners who have our lasting appreciation — because without them there wouldn’t be a tour.

Thank you George and Laurie Jackson, Peter and Laurena Stanos, Sam Campana, Paula Randolph, Bret and Shannon Cleary, Karl Freund, and Carol Garey and Julie Uryasz.  Speaking for all the visitors, we appreciate you opening your homes and sharing your stories with us.

When we began the annual home tour four years ago, it was created to showcase South Scottsdale when the area, particularly around the McDowell Road Corridor, was working to bounce back from some tough economic times.

South Scottsdale is now one of the most thriving areas in the city.  Home values are appreciating, businesses are booming and more people are moving here everyday.

The Scottsdale Home Tour team is happy to continue playing a small role in that renaissance.
