Reynolds: A ‘yes’ vote on Prop. 420 helps to protect our community jewel

Would you park a cage full of magnificent creatures in the middle of the African savanna?

Laure Reynolds

Suspend an aviary filled with the most colorful of winged-beauties in the tallest branches of the Amazon rain forest?

Sounds silly, right? And why is that? Well, because it would be cruel to trample that which thrives, right there minding it’s own business, with a Disneyland approach to reinventing “nature.”

Why would we change, alter and exploit the purity of that setting and incur a cost of millions of dollars, blowing funds so desperately needed elsewhere in Scottsdale to tend to our crumbling infrastructure which is in serious decline and disrepair?

That’s why we need to vote “yes” on 420 and protect this unique gem we’ve been blessed to steward!

Won’t you join me in this effort?
