Omni Resort celebrates holidays with special tree lighting event

The Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia held its annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony in December just outside Prado Restaurant in the Cortijo Plaza.

The evening featured free cookies and cocoa, photos with Santa Claus and a special visit by Arizona Cardinals runningback Andre Ellington and Paradise Valley Mayor-elect Michael Collins.

The two joined others in lighting Omni’s 20-foot-tall Christmas tree.

“The holidays are always a magical time of the year here at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia,” said Antwion Dixon, director of sales and marketing. “This year it is even more special because the resort has a new owner, new festivitiesv, and we are delighted to reintroduce our flagship restaurant, Prado, to travelers and locals alike this holiday season.”
