Rugby Bowl

Any veteran or active military can get free grandstand admission ($15 value) by showing a valid military ID verifying current or retired status at the box office.

The second-year event has been relocated to Scottsdale Stadium, the spring training home of the 2014 World Series champions San Francisco Giants, in the heart of Downtown Scottsdale.

The title match pits ASU’s No. 10 ranked Rugby team against nationally ranked Ohio State. Prior to that, Grand Canyon University takes on USC. There is also an Arizona high school championship match to start the day.

Gates open at 10 a.m.

There’s also plenty of action on the sidelines including live bands, a ‘Warning Track’ Fashion show produced by Phoenix Fashion Week and an arm wrestling challenge in which World Champion Arm Wrestling Champion Travis Bagent takes on all challengers.

Those 17 and under are also admitted free. Tickets start at just $10.
