Phoenix Suns host children’s clinic at Salt River High School in Scottsdale

The Phoenix Suns and Casino Arizona will partner to host a basketball clinic for 80 kids from the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community on Wednesday, Jan. 20 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Suns guard Sonny Weems, Suns community ambassador Steven Hunter, and Suns broadcaster Tom Leander will participate in a Q&A session about the importance of staying active and exercise.

Following the discussion, Mr. Weems, The Gorilla and members of the Solar Squad will lead the teens in a variety of drills and activities.

The event takes place at Salt River High School, 4827 N.Country Club Drive, Scottsdale.
