Pop Warner Football & Cheer hosts 2015 registration on June 13

Arizona Pop Warner Football & Cheer continues its drive toward the 2015 season with registration events from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 13 at 12 different locations Valleywide.

This is Arizona Pop Warner’s 52nd season and teams will once again gear up for their chance to play and cheer their way to the Pop Warner National Championships in Orlando, Fla. in December.

In the Northeast Valley, registration will take place at the following locations:

* Northeast Pop Warner: Sports Authority – Paradise Valley, 12869 N. Tatum Blvd., Phoenix.

* Scottsdale Pop Warner: Sports Authority – Scottsdale Pavilions, 9009 E. Indian Bend Road, Scottsdale, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Parents are asked to bring their child’s birth certificate and most recent report card containing grades for all four quarters. Both the parent/legal guardian and child must be present at registration.

Pop Warner is the oldest national youth football and cheerleading organization in the world. Founded in 1929, Pop Warner Football and Cheer boasts more than 120 leagues and over 400,000 members in the United States.

Arizona Pop Warner Football and Cheer is the only youth sports organization in the state that is a non-profit 501C(3) organization whose focus is making sure Arizona’s youth participants have the best possible environment in which to develop smart, responsible, healthy young men and women by giving them experiences that build their appreciation for and understanding of leadership, teamwork, and discipline.
