Rotarians host golf tourney to raise scholarship funds

The Rotary Club of Scottsdale will hold its annual Ed Adler Memorial Golf Tournament 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, at McCormick Ranch Golf Club.

The event, which helps fund scholarships awarded to local high school students, features lunch, a talk by a sports celebrity, silent auction and golf.

The event begins at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. Cost is $125 per person.

All proceeds are directed toward local youth scholarships. Each year the club awards over $50,000 in scholarships to local high school graduates and over $10,000, via The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona, to those in financial need to further their vocational studies.
