Scottsdale Notre Dame Preparatory has  hired Kyle Diemer as the Saints’ next head boys’ basketball coach, according to a press release.

Mr. Diemer comes to NDP after spending two years as head coach at Coolidge High School in Coolidge, Ariz.

Prior to his work at Coolidge High School, Mr. Diemer was a member of the basketball staff at Cactus Shadows High School. He served as both a Varsity Assistant and Junior Varsity/Freshmen Head Coach, the release states.

“Kyle is an outstanding teacher, a talented coach and he understands how important athletics can be in the formation of young people”, Principal Jim Gmelich said. “His familiarity with our community and our kids was also an important factor in our decision. We are very pleased to welcome Kyle and his family to NDP.”

Mr. Diemer graduated from Cactus Shadows High School and Arizona State University.

Opened in 2002, Notre Dame Prep is a Catholic diocesan college preparatory high school with a co-ed enrollment of 850 students.
