Scottsdale’s Spring Training Festival celebrates all things baseball

Scottsdale’s award-winning Spring Training Festival brings together the best of baseball Saturday, March 5, to celebrate the start of the Cactus League and another season of America’s Pastime.

The free, family-friendly event runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd.

Fans can enjoy hands-on activities focused around the science of baseball, meet and greets, storytellers, skill tests, memorabilia vendors, food and music.

A Cactus League Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place at 5:30 p.m. and a free family movie gets going under the stars at 7:15 p.m.
