It may not be Pacquiao vs. Mayweather but it will be a match-up of two of the world’s self-proclaimed tough guys go against each other in an arm-wrestling competition.

Maricopa County Sheriff, Joe Arpaio will take on ESPN star and world’s best arm wrestler, Travis Bagent, in an arm-wrestling competition during halftime of the featured match between Arizona State University and Ohio State at the Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale Rugby Bowl, on April 18.

BagentMr. Bagent will be in town as part of Rugby Bowl festivities, taking on challengers including Sheriff Arpaio.

“I hear Arpaio is the ‘World’s Toughest Sheriff.’ Well, I am the baddest arm wrestler in the land. I haven’t decided if I am going to take it easy on him quite yet. It might be a better match to have some of his prisoners take me on,” Mr. Bagent said.

The Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale Rugby Bowl: Beauty & The Beast is the state’s largest rugby event. This year the event has expanded to include ASU, Ohio State, USC, Grand Canyon University and the Arizona high school championships.
