Mr. Moss has more than 20 years of playing and coaching experience at the club, high school, college, and professional levels. He became the varsity team’s interim head coach when his predecessor, former Xavier head coach Frank Villa, retired in December.

Most recently, Mr. Moss was the head coach and assistant director of the Arizona Mavericks girls basketball program. He is also a former head coach of the Team Legacy girls basketball program and an assistant coach for the Phoenix Flame.

“Xavier is thrilled to have Mr. Moss as our head varsity basketball coach,” says Sister Lynn Winsor, BVM, Xavier’s Vice Principal for activities and athletic director.

He will challenge our many talented student-athletes to work hard to bring basketball excellence back to Xavier.”
