Two youth travel teams from Scottsdale Soccer (U14, U16 Girls) have qualified for US Club Soccer’s National Premier League Finals to be held July 9-13 at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind.
NPL Finals is the culminating event of a year-long, league-based competition among qualifiers from 19 regional leagues around the country. It will feature more than 6,000 players from 150 teams representing 18 U.S. states, according to a press release.
Founded in 2001, US Club Soccer boasts member teams from all 50 states, while sanctioning more than 400 tournaments annually, stated the release. Through its player-centric mentality, USCS has produced numerous elite youth players who have matriculated to professional leagues and top NCAA Division I teams.
