Registration is now open for The J’s youth RUSH Soccer and Maccabi Basketball leagues.
RUSH is a recreational soccer league that helps boys and girls ages 4 to 7 to improve their motor skills, coordination and self-confidence. Games are held weekly. The season runs Jan. 18 through March 2 with practice 5-5:45 p.m. Mondays, and games 5-5:45 p.m. Wednesdays.
Youth Maccabi Basketball is also a recreational league. Boys and girls grades Pre-K to 6 develop teamwork, sportsmanship, coordination and skill.
Practice and games are held weekly. In addition, there are free skills clinics for all ages on Tuesdays, 5-5:45 p.m.
The season runs Jan. 26 through April 3. Assessments start the week of Jan. 26.
Practice starts the week of Feb. 9 and games start the week of Feb. 21.
Parent coaches are welcome for both leagues.
RUSH Soccer registration deadline is Jan. 18. Cost is $80 for J members and $95 for non-members.
Youth Maccabi Basketball registration deadline is Jan. 26. Cost is $75 for J members and $125 for non-members.
Register for either or both leagues by Dec. 31 and save 15 percent.
